EKU Eastern Innovation Region Fiscal Year Summary
medical and pharmaceuticals (custom formulations, various medical devises and equipment), software (health and academic systems) and numerous new material or manufacturing innovations (sensors, switches, safety devices and systems, special equipment, etc.).

We have:

Processed twenty eight (28) Kentucky Enterprise Fund Applications

          •Received nine (9) KEF awards for clients totaling $292,500

These included the following clients, technologies and awards:

Simba USA-automated e-commerce, design, order and manufacturing system    $125,000

Ultra-Lok, patented anti-vibration locking fastener                                                          $  42,500

Data Futures, software systems                                                                                         $  25,000

Cumberland Barrier, safety and security system                                                             $  25,000

Centrant, software systems                                                                                                 $  25,000

We have also:

Assisted Celerity Automation in securing $1.5 million in DCI forgivable-loan and Economic      Development tax credit funds

Processed and secured an SBIR matching grant for $79,729 for Wilson Cedar Point Farms
